New car and truck facility in suburban New York City
11,600 square feet
Steel frame, sloped aluminum storefront and glazing, aluminum and granite cladding, zinc roofing

This new showroom for cars and trucks is located on a difficult, sloped site. Our design takes advantage of the change in grade: the exhibition space includes a vehicle ramp which connects the front and back of the parcel and forms a dynamic showroom.

The exterior rendering shown is seen from the road. The center portion is comprised of a sloped shopfront, minimizing daytime reflections for passing shoppers.

The long and low shape and the aerodynamic vaulted roof evoke both forward motion and the profile of Toyota's hybrid passenger car.
